Syllabus Creation and Design

This artifact showcases best practices for syllabus writing and design in Microsoft Word. The artifact was created for TECM 5550 Studies in the Teaching of Technical Communications during the Summer term of 2024. I completed this work individually and incorporated instructor feedback.

In addition to demonstrating the design principles of contrast, repetition, alignment, proximity, and white space, this syllabus highlights my learning in planning curriculum, using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Aligned, Relevant, Timebound) goals, and developing attainable timelines for instruction. For this element, I have also included the ability to download a PDF of the syllabus.
